Fluffy Meringue

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 tbsp cold water
  • 2 tbsps sugar
  • 1 tsp corn starch
  • 1 tsp baking powder

Beat egg white with cold water until whites hold their shape. Then mix together sugar, corn starch, and baking powder, and stir this mixture into egg whites until blended. Cover pie making sure that it touches the edges all around. Bake for 15 minutes at about 375. This is enough meringue for two small pies.
