Chocolate-Chip Peanut Butter Brownies

  • 1 c. flour (I use whole wheat)
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • ½ c. creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 c. butter or margarine
  • ½ c. white sugar (I omit)
  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • 2-3 eggs
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semisweet choc. chips (I use real choc.)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients and set aside; cream butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until just blended. Stir in choc. chips. Pour into a greased 8×8” pan. Bake at 350 for 30 mins or until slight imprint remains when lightly pressed in center. Do not overbake! (Dries easily!)
