Prairie Puffed Wheat Waffles

  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. Prairie Wheat Puffs
  • 1 ½ c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tbsp. butter, melted

First soak puffed wheat in milk. Then mix together sugar, eggs and salt. Sift flour with baking powder and add to egg mixture. Combine this batter with puffed wheat and add melted butter. Bake until brown and crisp for about 3 mins. and serve at once with butter and syrup.
