Raisin Sauce

Vi Shevkenek, 1975?

Mix:

  • ½ c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp. curry powder
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch

Slowly stir in 2 tbsp. vinegar. Add:

  • ¼ tsp. grated lemon peel
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 ½ c. water
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • ½ c. raisins

Stir over low heat till thickened. Serve hot.
