Dragon Cake

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 ½ c. milk
  • ½ c. margarine, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • ¼ c. unsweetened cocoa
  • ½ c. mashed ripe bananas
  • ½ c. cherries

In bowl combine flour, sugar, and baking powder, Add milk, margarine and vanilla. Beat on low till combined. Beat on high for 2 mins. Add eggs and beat for 2 minutes more. Divide batter into thirds. In one third add mashed bananas and fold in. In another third add cocoa powder and combine. In remaining third add cherries. Pour each into a greased and floured 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool thoroughly. Frost with fudge icing.
